Wanna-be pop music mogul, Heidi Montag released her debut album Superficial on Monday, January 12.
Montag has spent the last 3 years on this album and worked with artists such as Cathy Dennis. Heidi told press, “I want to make the new 2010 version of a pop star. I want to become a galaxy star.”
Heidi says that this album will really let people to get to know the “real Heidi”.
“That’s the world I live in and how people think I am but it’s really just the surface. People are just getting to know a whole new Heidi. I put my heart my heart into this music and it’ll really show.”
General Larry Platt made quite an impression on the American Idol judges on Wednesday’s episode, which was the season 9 auditions in Atlanta, Georgia.
Platt, 62, sang a song of his own called, “Pants on the Ground”. The song obviously makes a statement that Platt doesn’t care for low-riding pants. It rivals Renaldo Lapuz’s original composition, “We’re Brothers Forever.”
Simon Cowell told Platt, on the show, “I have a horrible feeling that song could be a hit.”
“I’m going to get my pants up. I’m going to buy some belts after this,” Randy Jackson declares.
After Platt’s very earnest attempt, Cowell had to inform Platt that he was over the show’s 28-year age limit.
We enjoyed it very much. Tell us what you think of the song!
Jennifer Love Hewitt has been the topic of conversation in the past regarding her weight. Criticism came after some unflattering photos were published of Hewitt in a bikini in 2007.
Hewitt, 31, was on “Lopez Tonight” recently, and she revealed that she will be no longer hiding her curves. She tells host George Lopez, “I’ve been through the hiding it phase, but now, 2010, it’s all about the booty.”
But as we all know how George Lopez is- he agrees with Jennifer’s new outlook, and says, “Let the booty out!”
We think you great Love! Don’t hide anything and be proud. You are a very beautiful and talented actress!
Kiefer Sutherland stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman to talk about his hit show 24. But, something was different about this appearance- he was wearing a dress!
Sutherland, 43, says that he lost a bet over the weekend. He says, “I was so sure that the New England was going to win that I told a guy who used to be my friend that if New England lost, I’d wear a dress on Letterman.”
Jesse McCartney is the latest “victim”? Well, not sure if victim is the exactly the right word. Anyhow, Jesse has had his lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, issued cease and desist letters pertaining to a photo that is in similarity to himself. Basically, for anyone who posts this photo, he will sue them
The photo that is causing a buzz right now is what looks like a naked McCartney all by himself, lying on a bed with a candy G-string, fully exposed. According to reports, it was sent out by an angry ex.
The letter states:
“It has come to our attention that a person is attempting to circulate a nude photo which purports to be Mr. McCartney. Mr. McCartney was unaware of the taking of this alleged photo, did not knowingly participate in the taking of this photo and certainly did not consent to the taking of such a photo. He has no recollection of the taking of this photo and it appears that his photo has been manipulated and doctored by computer software.”
Yadda, yadda, yadda…
So, which ex sent out the picture? And which part of the photo was “manipulated and doctored by software’? Hmmm… what do you think?

PETA is pulling the plug on an ad campaign that featured the First Lady Michelle Obama, without her permission.
In the anti-fur ad, PETA used photos of Obama, Carrie Underwood, Oprah Winfrey and Tyra Banks.
A White House rep said that PETA never received authorization to use Obama’s image in the ad.
PETA president, Ingrid Newkirk said in a statement, “The fact is that Michelle Obama has issued a statement indicating that she doesn’t wear fur, and the world should know that in PETA’s eyes, that makes her pretty fabulous.”
After the media made it known of PETA’s unauthorized ad, Newkirk said that they wouldn’t have asked Obama’s consent for the ad because it knows that she can’t make such an endorsement.
Michael C. Hall, who stars on HBO’s series, Dexter, has revealed that he has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer
Hall, 38, released a statement, saying that he was lucky to have been diagnosed early, though the condition is completely “treatable and curable.” He also thanked his Los Angeles-area medical team for their skill in caring for him.
A spokesman for Hall says the cancer is in remission but he will continue scheduled treatments.

Hall and Carpenter also plans to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards next Saturday, where Hall and the cast are also nominated for awards.
Joey Fatone and his wife Kelly have welcomed a baby girl into their lives on Monday, January 11.
Kelly gave birth to their little girl in Orlando, Florida. She weighed 5 lbs., 8 oz. The happy couple have named her, Kloey Alexandra Fatone. She joins big sister Briahna, 8 ½.
“Kloey’s so small. She looks like a little doll. But she’s healthy and doing just fine,” says Joey.
Kelly did not have an easy pregnancy, however. She fought chronic fatigue throughout her pregnancy. “She was so tired, just exhausted all the time,” Fatone says of his wife. “We took her to the doctors, and they found blood clots in her lungs. It was life and death.”
Doctors had diagnosed Kelly with a rare genetic condition called methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase. MTHFR increases the chances of the baby being born with chromosomal defects such as Down’s Syndrome.
Doctors decided to induce labor two weeks early due to health concerns for Kelly and the baby.
“The blood clots have broken up, Kelly’s doing fine and Kloey is awesome,” Joey tells reporters.
