A rep for Norton responded:
“This offensive statement from Kevin Feige at Marvel is a purposefully misleading, inappropriate attempt to paint our client in a negative light… This seemed to us to be a financial decision but, whatever the case, it is completely their prerogative, and we accepted their decision with no hard feelings.”
Norton, 40, who has been nominated for two Academy Awards, played The Hulk in the 2008 remake.
And on a side note, Ed Norton is the same man who starred in Primal Fear and Fight Club with absolutely amazing performances. What do you think of Edward Norton as an actor?
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher said “I do” in front of more than 200 guests in a ceremony held in Georgia.
The couple is now on their honeymoon in Bora Bora.
Following their nuptials, the newly-wed couple released a statement:
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” They signed it “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”
Carrie wore a Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown in the ceremony that took place under a lakeside tent. And the estimated cost? $500,000. Wow!
Fisher, 30, proposed to Underwood, 27, last December with a 12-carat ring worth approximately $800,000.
Martin Lawrence married his longtime girlfriend, Shamicka Gibbs, on Saturday (July 10) at the Lawrence’s home in Beverly Hills, California.
The wedding took place in the backyard with 120 guests, including Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington. Murphy and Washington’s daughters Amara, 9, and Iyana, 7, as well as Lawrence’s daughter Jasmine, 14, from a previous marriage, were flower girls.
After the ceremony, the reception took place under a tent with a family-style celebration. Guests dined on salad, crab cakes and salmon and was catered by Tres LA.
Lindsay Lohan was a no-show at her own belated birthday bash that was planned for the day after being sentenced to 90 days in jail.
Lohan was reportedly expected to celebrate her belated birthday Wednesday night (June 7) at Hollywood hotspot, Las Palmas, but she was a no-show!
Reportedly, Lindsay spent time with family and was feeling so depressed that she didn’t want to leave the house. Instead, her new fame-seeking gal pal, Kim Kardashian joined Lindsay and arrived at her house with, what do you know? Yep, photographers waiting outside to snap Ms. Kardashian’s picture.
Lindsay did, in fact, spend a low-key night at home. Happy belated Lindsay!

Rimes, 27, and Cibrian, 36, who famously had an affair last year and have since divorced their spouses, were spotted showing much PDA over the 4th of July. The pair were vacationing at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, California, with Cibrian’s sons, Jake, 3, and Mason, 7.
In one photos, it shows, Rimes straddling Cibrian while one of his boys drinks a bottle of water, sitting next to them.
Rimes says the boy probably didn’t mind.
But now, LeAnn went back to her Twitter to announce a break from the social networking tool.

David Henrie and a few of his just-so-happen-to-be famous friends celebrated an early birthday with a bonfire at Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico this past weekend.
David was joined by Nicole Anderson, Brandon Smith, Chelsea Staub, Carlson Young, Gregg Sulkin and Mark Hapka.
And for an FYI, David turns 21 on Sunday (July 11)!
David told reporters, “I am so excited to return to Casa Dorada for the big 2-1! There is no other place I could imagine spending this milestone birthday with my close friends and family.”
