Mark Wahlberg was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (July 29) in Hollywood, California.

Wahlberg, 39, was joined by his wife Rhea Durham and their four children, Ella, Michael, Brendon, and Grace for the presentation.

Congratulations to Mark!  He received the 2,414th star on the legendary walk of fame.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, of “Jersey Shore,” was arrested on Friday (July 30) in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

Authorities released a statement to Access confirming the star was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

A statement from Seaside Heights Police Department was released as:

“On July 30th 2010 at approximately 1523 hrs Nicole Polizzi was acting in a disorderly manner while located on the beach at Fremont Avenue in Seaside Heights.  Ms. Polizzi was… placed… under arrest for the charge of Disorderly Conduct within the Fremont Avenue Street End. Ms Polizzi was then transported to Police Headquarters where she was processed and later release on a summons.”

On Friday, Jennifer “JWOWW” Farley, Twittered:

“Going to bail @Sn00ki out of jail… The things I do for this girl I swear.”

Janet Jackson is the newest face of fur label Blackglama, joining the ranks of Hollywood legends Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross, among others.

In the ad, Ms. Jackson is wearing a dark mink coat and cropped coif.  Janet says she’s honored to be a part of the Blackglama campaign; however she is getting slammed by a few groups/people.

You guessed it… PETA is all over it.

PETA’s V.P., Dan Matthews, wrote in a letter to Janet:

“You told me that you were always aggravated at photo shoots when stylists would try to throw fur on you and that you were even wary of wearing fake fur out of concern that it might actually be real or look real in photos and send the wrong message. You were very straightforward and sensible about it. What happened?”

And Pamela Anderson decided to throw her two cents in as well. Pamela recently told Out magazine it’s “disappointing” because “Janet has spoken out about fur before…some people stop listening to their heart.”

A rather unusual teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was recently shown at Comic-Con this year (watch below).

The fourth installment of Pirates is sure not to disappoint, despite the departures of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly.  This installment, however will introduce exciting new characters and of course, this one is all about our most favorite pirate of all, Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).

In the two-minute teaser, Sparrow denied that he would be searching for the “Fountain of Youth” while facing, “varied and substantial dangers along the way, including but not limited to zombies, cutthroats, mermaids, and the vicious and vivacious Penelope Cruz.”

The cast and crew are currently filming in Hawaii.

Pirates 4 is due to be released on May 20, 2011 in theatres, and in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D!

Heidi Montag has pulled out of a new reality series that will star pal, Jen Bunney.

Bunney wrote on her blog:

“Originally I was supposed to do a reality show with Heidi , but right now it looks like some things have changed, and I don’t know if Heidi wants to be involved in reality TV at the moment with everything going on in her personal life (no we are not in a fight, and no Heidi is not “dropping” me to do reality shows with the twins). So , since that recent development our original network and some others as well have offered to continue on with the show despite Heidi possibly not being involved, which I just recently agreed to. Although, I of course wanted to pursue this project with her I also respect that she has a lot to deal with right now and have to decided to go ahead and move forward with it alone, since these opportunities have presented themselves (my hope is that she will want to be involved later on). So I have already been to a few really productive meetings in the past few weeks, and the show is moving forward, looking to air this January. I was actually  surprised that this happened, considering my name is not one that has been plastered across every tabloid the past few years, but I am super excited. I suppose the buzz from the original show with Heidi garnered enough interest and publicity and enough about me as an individual that several networks are interested in still pursuing it despite Heidi’s absence. So that’s the news for now!”

And as for what network will be airing the show? Even Jen isn’t sure about that, she writes, “I haven’t had any offers from MTV. But there have been some from other networks.”
