As an author! Duff has announced her plans to pen a series of young adult novels for Simon & Schuster.
Hilary, who was recently engaged to Edmonton Oilers player Mike Comrie, is starting the series with an upcoming book titled “Elixir,” which is due to hit bookstore shelves on October 12th, 2010.
According to press reports, Hilary’s first book “will feature the adventures of a globe-trotting photojournalist named Clea Raymond.”
She will also be writing a book that is aimed to help children cope with the subject of parental divorce. That has a release date in 2012.
Jamie Foxx and Stacey Dash (who best known for her role in Clueless as Dionne) arrived together for the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. A correspondent for “Extra” asked the couple if it was a “date night.”
“We are on a date,” Foxx explains. “She’s the hottest, and I’m just hanging. She did our radio show, and they are going to give her own show on FOX Home Radio, XM 149, and we decided to come out and enjoy the night.”

Robert Halderman, who is the man accused of trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman last year, pled guilty to one count of grand larceny in the second degree in a Manhattan court Tuesday afternoon (March 9), according to TMZ.
Halderman was sentenced to 6 months in jail, 5 years probation and 1,000 hours of community service.

Lady Gaga says that “Telephone,” picks up where ” Paparazzi” left off. Apparently, Beyoncé breaks Lady Gaga out of jail Gaga in jail for poisoning her BF Alexander Skarsgård in the much anticipated video clip.

Reportedly, Lindsay Lohan is suing E-Trade for a commercial that aired during the Super Bowl.
According to Lohan, she says the online stock company used her first name to profit, naming the “milkaholic” baby in their ad after her.
Lindsay’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia told reporters, “Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.”
E-Trade has responded by saying they “just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team.”

Betty, 88, who has a long career, but is most known for her roles on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and ‘The Golden Girls’, she has never hosted Saturday Night Live.

In the video, Heidi, 23, urges Congress to adopt financial reform policies and create a consumer agency to stop banks and credit cards from being “such sleazy jerks”. The video was directed by Ron Howard. And Heidi’s hubby, Spencer Pratt makes a cameo.
Heidi recently told People, “I was honored to work with the amazing Ron Howard. He was even more incredible than I could have imagined – kind, generous and made me feel so comfortable. He made me feel confident in my talent.”
