Toni Collette plays Tara Gregson, a mom with Dissociative Identity Disorder in the new Showtime series “United States of Tara,” premiering tonight on Showtime. 

“I’m very happy to be in this world because I don’t want to be in the safe story land, anyway. It’s boring,” Collette said. 

“Mental illness, in general, has a certain stigma attached, and the wonderful thing about this show is it goes beyond that and into this somewhat normal family who are dealing with these exaggerated circumstances. Part of the beauty of this family is the fact that they fully embrace what’s going on with Tara. It does certainly bring up the question: ‘What is normal?’ ”

“This is me saying this is who I am. This is my story,” the actor-turned-aspiring rapper stated before taking the stage at Las Vegas club LAVO.

“After all the years of reading scripts and reading lines, this is my chance to do something straight from the heart and put it out there,” he said. And why hip-hop? “When I was young I liked punk rock music but then I discovered rap. I love the storytelling aspect of hip-hop.”

Amy Winehouse recently stated “I still love my Blake. I won’t let him divorce me,” Amy told The Sun of her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. “He’s still in jail but the moment he comes out I’ll be there waiting for him.”

As earlier reported, Blake said he will be filing for divorce based on Amy’s alleged infidelity. She’s been photographed vacationing with rugby player Josh Bowman.  “While Blake is in jail I’m still gonna have a good time — he can’t do much about it,” she told the Sun. “But once he comes out we’ll be together again.”

“I love him because he’s just like me,” Amy added. “Blake is the male version of me. We’re perfect for each other.”

But, she said, he’s going to have to come to her as she continues to vacation.

“I don’t want to go back home to England. I want to wait for Blake here,” she said.  Amy also said that she is not doing drugs on her vacation, she is just writing songs.  As reported by The Sun, the hotel that she is staying in has banned her from drinking alcohol after several complaints from other guests.

Aussie Isla Fisher, soon-to-be bride of Sacha Baron Cohen, will be appearing in an upcoming issue of Allure Magazine.

Isla talks candidly about her relationship with the controversial comedian.  “We are going to get married, really, really, even more now than ever.

“We have been talking about it and we have been very close, but it has been difficult to plan. It is very important to me to have a beautiful ritual celebrated with all my family and friends and to feel part of a community. “And when you are in the public eye, to keep that private and to make it happen without it being really visible is really difficult.”

The couple became engaged in 2004 but decided to put the marriage date off until after Isla gave birth to their daughter, Olive.

Aussie actress Rachel Griffiths is adding another child to her family.  The star of ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters” is pregnant with her third child. 

Rachel, 40, has been married to artist Andrew Taylor since 2002. They have a son, Banjo Patrick, 5, and a daughter, Adelaide Rose, 3.

Patrick Swayze has been released from the hospital, his rep confirms.

“I am happy to announce that Patrick Swayze is home after a brief hospitalization for pneumonia,” his rep Annett Wolf says. 

Patrick, who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, checked himself into the hospital one week ago for observation. He was forced to cancel his appearance at the Television Critics Association press event to promote his new A&E series, “The Beast“, which premiered Jan. 15.

Patrick is now back at home and resting.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are getting a guest spot on CSI: NY.

“Ashlee will be playing ‘Lia Wickfield’ andPete will be playing ‘Chester Bryon’. They are a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’-like couple,” a source says. 

Ashlee is scheduled to begin filming her scenes Friday. Pete is expected to start shooting the show sometime next week.

Jeez, is CSI:NY really doing that bad? Are they desperate for guest stars?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie  previously got both Golden Globe and Screen Actor Guild Award nods — are being honored by the British Academy for their dramatic acting roles.

The awards ceremony takes place Feb. 8 at the Royal Opera House in London.
