On Lopez Tonight, George Lopez used his Tuesday night monologue to express his opinions of this seasons contestants of “Dancing with the Stars”.

Lopez used this time to get cheap laughs by saying Ralph Macchio was wearing a rug on his head and Wendy Williams had no knees.  But worst of all, he had quite a few negative things to say about Kirstie Alley.
 
Alley, who has famously struggled with her weight, danced the cha-cha to Cee Lo Green‘s “Forget You.” And Lopez criticized her physique.

“She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away,” Lopez said, obviously comparing Alley to a pig. “Before the show she went to the market, then she had roast beef, and this is her going all the way home.” And it all ended when it cut to a video of a pig squealing (from a Geico commercial).

Another exciting season of Dancing with the Stars is about to be underway.  And this year will not be short of exciting celebs and glamorous costumes to keep our eyes on!

Joining this seasons cast will be Kendra Wilkinson Baskett, Kirstie Alley, model Petra Nemcova, talk show host Wendy Williams, NFL player Hines Ward, actor and rapper Romeo, Disney star Chelsea Kane, Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio, boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, wrestler Chris Jericho, and radio personality “Psycho” Mike Catherwood.

Dancing with the Stars season 12 will kick off with a two-hour premiere on Monday (March 21) at 8/7 CST p.m. on ABC!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and ESPN reporter Erin Andrews were at the top of the leader board for the first time, on Monday night’s (May 24) Dancing With the Stars. 

Andrews was tied with front-runners Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough.  Evan Lysacek, and partner Anna Trebunskaya were close behind after the first night of competition on Dancing‘s two-night finale.
 
Then, Tuesday night (May 25), the contestants danced again, two were eliminated, which left one….

Congratulations to Nicole Scherzinger!

Nicole is the proud season 10 champ and owner of the mirror ball trophy.

Lysacek came in second and Andrews came in third.

Bruno Tonioli was critiquing Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Monday night’s (May 17) Dancing with the Stars, when he let the F-word fly!

When Andrews stumbled at the end of her paso doble, Tonioli quickly snapped at Chmerkovskiy, “You were the one who f–ked up!”

The audience gasped in shock and Tonioli said, “Oops, sorry.”

The show quickly bleeped out the word on the live TV.

“There was a knee drop and I lost my balance. I didn’t want the judges to comment — but then Bruno cursed,” said Chmerkovskiy.

Andrews added, “There’s a lot here for him to catch! And then Bruno also gave us a 10 when he wanted to give us a 9! He’s out of control!” (Tonioli accidentally held up the wrong paddle.)

All we can say is- “wow”!

8. Chad Ochocinco- Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver. 
9. Aiden Turner- soap star 
10. Buzz Aldrin- 80 year old former astronaut who was on the Apollo 11 mission.

Aldrin will be the oldest contestant to compete on the show as of yet.

What do you think about the 2010 Dancing with the Stars celebrity cast?

Reportedly, Paula Abdul has been offered $1 million deal to appear on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

The deal will reportedly also allow Paula to also judge on  X Factor with Simon Cowell. Simon and Paula have been meeting to discuss the terms, as reported by TMZ.
 
No word if Paula has accepted or is trying to negotiate the deal.  We’ll keep you posted.

Kelly Osbourne was the fan favorite and was thought to take the top spot on Dancing with the Stars; things didn’t turn out that way.

Instead, Donny Osmond, 51, won last night with Mya coming in second place.

Osmond and his dancing partner, Kym Johnson, were awarded the Season Nine mirror ball trophy.

After winning and spinning his wife around the dance floor, Donny spoke to some press, “If you saw the work that went into this season. Kym is so amazing. Of all the things I’ve done in my career, this is right up there.”

And Donny’s reaction to beating out Kelly: “I was so shocked when Kelly was eliminated. I couldn’t believe it.”

Melissa Rycroft hasn’t hung up her dancing shoes yet!

Melissa will be appearing on Tuesday’s semi-final results show of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, and performing with her Season 8 partner, Tony Dovolani.

On Sunday, Melissa took to Twitter:

“Practice with Tony – we’re baaaaacckkk!!”

Melissa, who is a former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, is looking great after recovering from the swine flu.

Kelly Osbourne, Joanna Krupa, Donny Osmond and Mya are still left.  Who do you think will win this season?

It’s almost time for Dancing with the Stars’ ninth season. And sixteen celebrities have signed on to do the ABC show, which premieres Monday, Sept. 21.

The Dancing lineup was was announced on Good Morning America this morning. 

The most talked about contestant so far??  Former House of Representatives Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

“He’s a fairly divisive figure in as much as Democrats will probably be hoping he fails and Republicans will probably be melting down the phones to keep him in,” producer Conrad Green admits.  “I love that kind of level of engagement.  Tom loves dancing. He dances with his wife. He watches Dancing with the Stars religiously. For him it was a no brainer, but for us it was an absolute shock.”

Professional dancer/celebrity pairings will be announced on August 24th.

Shawn Johnson and Gilles Marini go into Tuesday’s “Dancing With the Stars” finale tied with 58 points. Melissa Rycroft is two points behind with 56.

Johnson earned a perfect score Monday for her freestyle dance, plus 28 points for her paso doble. Marini performed a perfect paso and scored 28 points for his freestyle dance.

Rycroft collected 29 points for her paso doble and 27 for her freestyle performance.

But, only one will take home the mirror ball trophy.
