Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene have reportedly resolved their salary dispute with Summit Entertainment, and they both have officially signed on for Breaking Dawn, the final installment of the Twilight movies!

Greene and Lutz are getting approximately $1.25 million for each of the final movies, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Both Twilight stars were reportedly asking for $4 million per film.

An official announcement from the studio on whether the film will be split in two is expected very soon.

The final installment of “The Twilight Saga” finally has a release date!

“Breaking Dawn” will open in theaters on November 18, 2011, Summit Entertainment has confirmed.
 
“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” hits theaters on June 30, 2010.  That means there’s going to be a long 1 ½ year wait for all you Twi-hards out there!

Bill Condon was recently named as director of the film.

No word yet if the “splitting the story into two movies” rumor is true or not.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” will be split into two separate movies, just like the last book of the Harry Potter series.  Definitely makes some more monies for those involved with the franchise.

And that’s exactly how Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are reportedly seeing it. The trio are currently talking salaries.

According to reports, the “New Moon” stars are sticking together as they negotiate what just may be an eight-figure deal for each “Breaking Dawn” installment.

Wow! Well the movie studio is going to make a crap load of money, why shouldn’t these hard working actors get a piece of that?  Good for you Rob, Kristen and Taylor!

For the second time this year, Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight Saga,  has been accused of plagiarizing one of her best-selling books.

Self-described writer-singer Jordan Scott has sent a cease-and-desist letter to  Stephanie, accusing her of ripping off Scott’s vampire love trilogy, The Nocturne—parts of which she posted online back in 2003 and which therefore, she claims, were readily available for Meyer to swindle.

“The claim that Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer somehow infringes on an alleged book by someone named Jordan Scott is completely without merit,” Meyer’s publisher, Hachette Book Group, said in a statement.

“Neither Stephenie Meyer nor her representatives had any knowledge of this writer or her supposed book prior to this claim…The world of the Twilight Saga and the stories within it are entirely the creation of Ms. Meyer.

“Her books have been a phenomenal sensation, and perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising to hear that other people may seek to ride the coattails of such success. This claim is frivolous and any lawsuit will be defended vigorously.”

So the allegations???

Scott’s letter alleges that Meyer “misappropriated both the ideas and in many instances the text” from The Nocturne, counting out 17 grievances in all.
