It’s been 25 years since The Oprah Winfrey Show hit the air waves.

Guest stars were in Chicago on Tuesday (May 17), to join Oprah Winfrey for filming the final farewell show.

Longtime gal pal Madonna said: “Oprah’s been on her game for 25 years and she’s still kicking ass!”

What celebs were in attendance? Hmmm, well just to name a few…Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hanks, Aretha Franklin and Madonna!

Beyonce performed her new single “Run the World (Girls)” to a very excited crowd.

Sounds exciting!  Who’s going to watch?

During a recent trip to New York, Katie Holmes found herself in a rather embarrassing situation.

Katie recently appeared on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and shared about how her daughter Suri got her hands on some gummy candy that was shaped like “boy parts”.

Katie told hostess, Ellen DeGeneres, “Recently, I took her to get ice cream in New York at this place called Serendipity that we go to all the time. It’s for kids. The clientele is children. We go in and we are waiting for a table and she grabs some gummies that are boy part gummies. I was horrified. P-e-n-i-s gummies. I said, oh wow those aren’t Swedish fish.”

Katie continued, “They are called p-e-n-i-s gummies and they look like it. She was holding the box and I was like ok, wow we don’t need that right now. Because I thought if I said put that back and then she’s going to say, what is this? And I really didn’t want to have that conversation. I was like, why are selling these here? This is for kids. And then it was on the cover of a magazine that I’m giving her those gummies.”

Nothing like a little PR Band-Aid for Katie and Suri!  What do you think?

Katie Holmes was recently spotted in New York City around midnight with her daughter, Suri Cruise.  Okay, that’s not the weird part.  Katie was photographed with her Suri while she was eating penis-shaped gummy candies!

Nothing like sharing a box of x-rated candies with your 4-year-old!

Katie Holmes will be on the cover of Elle magazine’s November issue, and she is opening up about family life and her affinity for believable vampires.

Katie’s devotion to her husband, Tom Cruise and daughter, Suri:
 “In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do what I need to do, but it’s like, ‘How is everybody else doing?’ And it’s wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character.”

Vampire movies:
 ”I even like vampire movies – they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I’m not interested.”

On fashion:
“I love Alaïa, for sure. Stella McCartney. I like Ralph Lauren because I feel like it’s very American, and I’m pretty all-American, from Ohio. Isabel Marant and a new designer, Sari Gueron.”

Victoria Beckham celebrated her 35th birthday with a ladies-only dinner Wednesday night.  Even though Victoria doesn’t turn 35 until Friday.

Victoria and her girl-posse arrived at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood with at around 9:30 p.m.

There to celebrate were Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria, Kate Beckinsale, followed by Jennifer Lopez. Nicole Richie joined the group later.

“There was a lot of laughing and giggling, and, at one point, I saw all of them making a toast and cheering with their glasses,” an onlooker tells Usmagazine.com.

After a champagne-filled dinner, the waiter brought over a cake “and the ladies sang Happy Birthday to Victoria and she smiled and blew out her candle,” the witness adds.

Victoria Beckham says she and her friends, Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria Parker and Kate Beckinsale; they love to joke about crazy pregnancy rumors.

“You get a little water retention; it’s not news,” Beckham, 34, says in the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “Me, Katie, Eva and Kate always joke about how one of us is allegedly pregnant, but no, we’re just a little bloated today! None of us is pregnant.”

She also opens up about how she keeps that figure.

“It’s funny; I go to the gym now,” she says. “I run four miles a day.”

Before events, “I go into hair and makeup, and I turn into ‘Victoria Beckham.’ I’ll try on all my dresses, and I’ll pick out a handbag, and I’ll put on shades. I instantly turn into into this person, and it sort of feels like a character. And there are so many pictures of it…But it’s a true character because it’s still me.”

She dolls herself up anytime she leaves the house.

“If I go to the supermarket looking like shit, that affects my work. I am selling an image,” she says. “Plus, I have fun with it.”

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with daughter Suri, 2, and siblings Connor, 13, and Isabella, 15 – were joined by David and Victoria Beckham and their three sons, Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3, to spend Thanksgiving in New York City.

The Beckhams left their three sons with a babysitter Wednesday afternoon to attend a matinee performance of Holme’s Broadway play, All My Sons, with Cruise, and then picked Holmes up for a double date at Il Cantinori.

The next morning, all woke up early to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade from the Trump International Hotel in Manhattan before taking a walk through Central Park to see the Big Apple Circus and ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
 

The star power of Katie Holmes isn’t enough sell tickets to ‘All My Sons,’ as advanced sales haven’t surpassed $1 million, unusual for an A-lister’s appearance on stage. I guess being Mrs. Tom Cruise just isn’t enough to draw the people in.

Producer Eric Falkenstein also confirmed that John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson will also star in the production.

All bets are on that Tom Cruise (45) will be on site 24/7 stalking Katie Holmes (29) insuring that she does not independently enjoy the experience!

What’s up Tom, scared she may find someone her own age and be un-programmed… err I meant swept away?
