We’ve heard it before and here is yet another “Real Housewives” star that has been living beyond her means.

According to The Wall Street Journal, “The Real Housewives of New York City’s” Sonja Morgan filed for bankruptcy on Wednesday (November 17).

“The decision to seek bankruptcy relief was not an easy one, but unfortunately, I am at a crossroads in my life,” Morgan stated in court papers.

Morgan blamed her growing debt on a failed movie venture with Hannibal Pictures Inc. According to papers filed, the reality star says that production on “Fast Flash to Bang Time” never began because its star, John Travolta, required “various conditions” that Sonja Productions was unable to meet. Hannibal Pictures Inc. later filed a lawsuit against Morgan’s production company and won a $7 million judgment.  Morgan is appealing that decision.

Morgan, who was previously married to John Adams Morgan (heir to the J.P. Morgan fortune) reportedly, listed her debt as $19.8 million with only $13.5 million in assets.

When Morgan joined the Real Housewives of New York in Season 3, she reportedly claimed her monthly income was $26,000 per month.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston have announced via their website that…..Kelly is pregnant!

Travolta, 56, and Preston, 47, are also parents to Ella Bleu, 10. The family endured a tragedy when 16-year-old Jett, died of a seizure in January 2009.

Two of John Travolta ‘s dogs were killed at a Maine airport Thursday night (May 13).

A vehicle at Bangor International Airport was driving to the plane to service it when it ran over the dogs.

Travolta, who often pilots his own plane often, fuels up at the airport while en route to his home in Islesboro, off the Maine coast.

In January 2009, Travolta and wife Kelly Preston‘s 16-year-old son, Jett, died at the family’s vacation home at the Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.

Robin Williams said, “It was fun to watch them watch her because it was her first movie.” Also, Williams’ daughter Zelda, an up-and-coming actress appears in the movie!

‘Old Dogs’ is a family film that is getting rave reviews.  It hits theaters on November 25th.

The extortion trial that involves John Travolta and the death of his son, Jett Travolta, ended in a mistrial.   A Bahamian judge declared this surprising judgment late Wednesday.

Senior Supreme Court Judge Anita Allen declared a mistrial due to juror misconduct after an announcement from a local politician that one of the defendants had been acquitted – before the jurors came back with their verdict!

Ossi, an entertainment lawyer and a prosecution witness, says a police officer heard on TV that one of the defendants – a onetime Bahamian senator named Pleasant Bridgewater – had been acquitted.

“The police officer said, ‘It looks like Pleasant got off,’ ” Ossi said.

News of Bridgewater’s acquittal was on TV two hours before the foreman told the judge the nine-member jury was having difficulty reaching a verdict.

Bridgewater (who resigned her position in the wake of the scandal) and paramedic Tarino Lightbourn were charged with conspiring to extort $25 million from Travolta.  The two are accused of threatening to release personal information to the press if Travolta didn’t agree to pay.

The two people accused of attempting to extort millions from John Travolta  and his wife Kelly Preston after the death of their son Jett, pled not guilty in a Bahamian court on Tuesday.

Former Bahamian Senator Pleasant Bridgewater, who was charged with abatement to extort, and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, who was charged with attempted extortion, were arraigned together, according to E! Online.

Various previous reports have alleged that the two claimed to have very personal information related to Jett’s death. They allegedly were seeking $25 million from the grieving family.

During today’s court proceeding, prosecutors also revealed they plan to call John Travolta as a key witness in the trial.

The case is set to begin on September 21.

Three people have been arrested in the alleged extortion plot against John Travolta and Kelly Preston.

Police in the Bahamas have detained an island lawmaker and a paramedic in the extortion case.  Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Marvin Dames says Senator Pleasant Bridgewater has been held since Thursday in the case.

Dames also stated that a second suspect is ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne, who was detained on Friday.

Obie Wilchcombe, the former Minister of Tourism and member of the Bahamian Parliament, was one of three arrested.   Wilchcombe was a very close friend to the Travolta family and actually spoke about the investigation.

Wilchcombe had said he was approached about the extortion plot early last week and passed along the information to Travolta’s lawyers, Michael Ossi and Michael McDermott.

“The irony was that the Travolta family just sent a letter of gratitude — it happened that afternoon,” said Wilchcombe, referring to a Jan. 12 statement issued by McDermott, Travolta’s lawyer, thanking the people of the Bahamas for their support.

It’s not bad enough to lose your child unexpectedly, but to have two assholes try an extort you over a picture of your son dying is far beyond fucked up!

It’s reported that John Travolta is allegedly being extorted for “millions” by a pair of fucked up individuals who are threatening to release pictures taken of Jett Travolta while he was dying on his hospital bed and after he had passed.

After being contacted by the Fucked up extortionist, Travolta contacted his lawyers and met with the extortionists in the Bahamas.

The incident is still being investigated and it is unknown if Travolta has paid the culprits.

Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston issued a statement shortly after Jett’s death, saying they were “heartbroken” and that Jett was “”the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for.”

John Travolta and Kelly Preston sent a letter to the Ocala Star-Banner this morning via their attorney, Michael McDermott.  Following, is the letter, in regards to the death of their 16 year-old son, Jett Travolta.

The enormous amount of love, support and condolence we have received from this community has been most humbling. Comforting words, thoughts and prayers of Ocala’s citizens have made an impossibly painful situation, a little less painful.

“The actions of Ocala’s community leaders, its law enforcement professionals, our neighbors at Jumbolair and its surrounding communities have offered us the dignity to grieve the loss of our son and Ella’s brother in peace. For this we will always be grateful.

“From the people who drove hours to drop off cards and flowers at our doorstep, to the service providers who made Jett’s ceremony so beautiful, thank you. Every person who we have encountered has offered to do anything in their power to help us, but add that they feel powerless to do so. We want all of you to know that you have already helped us. By sharing our grief, you lessen our burden. For all of the people who have kept Jett in their prayers, know that those prayers have given us inspiration and strength.

“What we have experienced in Ocala transcends neighborly civility. We have been treated as family. Although we lost a good part of the joy and radiance of our family, your embracing us as a member of your own has helped us to contend with our loss.
