Heather Locklear, 49, recently checked into an L.A.-area hospital with a bacterial infection, her rep has confirmed.

Locklear just returned from Canada where she was filming a movie. Her rep said that she’s on antibiotics and is expected to be released later in the week.

Heather Locklear will not be charged in a recent misdemeanor hit-and-run accident.

A statement from the DA read:

“An investigation conducted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department revealed that on April 17, 2010, at approximately 4 am, a hit and run, in violation of California Vehicle Code section 20002, occurred on Lakeview Canyon Road in the city of Thousand Oaks, where a driver collided with a “No Parking” sign and left the scene without reporting the collision to law enforcement. Physical evidence established that the vehicle involved in the collision was a 2005 black BMW sedan registered to Richard and Heather Sambora of Westlake Village. Insufficient evidence exists to establish who the driver of the vehicle was at the time of the collision. As a result, no criminal charges will be filed.”

Good thing, whoever was driving the car fled the scene! Now the cost of fixing the sign will be a taxpayers problem!  And noone has to be held accountable!

Locklear was arrested in 2008 for an alleged DUI. She plead no contest to a reckless driving charge and was placed on three years’ probation.

Heather Locklear was arrested for allegedly hitting a no-parking sign on a public street early Saturday morning (April 17) near her gated-community home in Ventura County, Calif., and left without notifying anyone, according to police.

Locklear was cited for misdemeanor hit-and-run after Ventura County Sheriffs examined debris left at the scene and traced it back to her 2005 black BMW.

Heather, who played the role of Amanda Woodward on the series from 1992 to 1999, turned down the offer because “there wasn’t a way to bring her back that made sense.”
The show is scheduled to air on the CW this fall and has a full cast including Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Lucas, Michael Rady and Kate Cassidy.

Although the new show is still holding out hope that Heather will decide to join, they are keeping their options open and searching.  Lisa Rinna is hoping, herself that she lands a role on the show. I’m guessing because it is her only chance at a come-back?  With her messed up face, because of too much plastic surgery,where else would she land a job now?

Heather Locklear, who was arrested in a DUI in Santa Barbara, Calif. in September 2008, has been dismissed.

Heather has pleaded no contest to the lesser charge of misdemeanor reckless driving.  A source close to the case said that “the DUI charge has been dismissed. Heather now has to pay a $700 fine, attend a 12-hour Driver’s Education course and be on informal probation.”

Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday evening in Santa Barbara County, Calif.

“Around 4:30 p.m., a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot in Montecito,” California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Marshall stated. “The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times.”

“The witness called 911 because she was concerned for Locklear’s safety,” Marshall said. “When a CHP officer arrived, Locklear was found seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway.”

Because Locklear appeared “disoriented and impaired,” she was taken to a local CHP station and drug and alcohol tests were administered, Marshall said. The actress was cooperative.

The actress’s lawyer, Blair Berk, wasn’t immediately available for comment. Locklear’s publicist had no comment.

Heather Locklear has entered rehab for psychological treatment, her rep confirms to Us magazine.com.

“Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment,” the rep said in a statement. “This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released.”

It was just this past March that a friend of Heather’s called 911 and stated that Heather might be suicidal.
