In a new Eclipse trailer, Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) are forced to put aside their differences to take down murderous vampire Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard).

In The Twilight Saga‘s third novel, Victoria is still at it, and this latest trailer gives a look at her newborn vampire army – which includes her right-hand-man Riley, played by Twilight newcomer Xavier Samuel – and the havoc they’re creating in nearby Seattle, Washington.

Eclipse will hit theaters June 30!

And Twi-hards, make sure you mark your calendars for May 13!  Rob, Kristen, and Taylor will all be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show!

They say they are not an item.  Rob claims to be single.  But yet numerous sighting have occurred and numerous photos have been taken of the pair looking a little more than “just friends”.  And here is a few more to go along with that statement.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were photographed, yet again, looking pretty close and very much into each other.  This time the couple was at a Kings of Leon concert in Canada Saturday night, along with fellow cast members, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Bryce Dallas Howard and others.

Looks as if the pair enjoyed a night of music, Heineken, cigarettes and the company of each other.

With the recasting of Victoria in Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight saga, a sort-of verbal feud has broken out between a cast member and the production company.

Rachelle Lefevre is being replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard and hearing an earful about how “stunned” and “hurt” Lefevre is – Summit Entertainment is defending its decision, and telling Rachelle that she has no reason to be surprised, considering that it’s her fault.

“We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the studio,” a press statement reads. “Her decision to discuss her version of the scheduling challenges publicly has forced the studio to set the record straight and correct the facts.”

According to Summit, Rachelle was well aware of the shooting schedule for Eclipse when she decided to sign on with another movie that had a conflicting schedule and was being filmed thousands of miles away. Making things worse, Rachelle didn’t tell Summit about the other film until nearly two months after agreeing to do it, the movie company says.

“If Ms. Lefevre was, as she describes ‘passionate,’ about being part of the Twilight saga, she would have included us in her decision to work on another film that would conflict with the shooting schedule,” the statement continues.

“Summit had acted in good faith that she would be available to fulfill her obligations both in terms of rehearsals and shooting availability. Her choice to withhold her scheduling conflict information from us can be viewed as a lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production,” Summit says.

Wow, and not only does Summit bite back, but they really sunk their teeth in!

As we previously reported, Rachelle Lefevre has been recast in her role in the third Twilight movie, Eclipse, and replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard.

Her reaction, Rachelle says she’s “stunned” that she has been replaced.

Summit Entertainment, producers of the Twilight saga, announced Tuesday that Lefevre, who plays the vengeful vampire, Victoria, would drop out due to scheduling conflicts.

Rachelle released a statement Wednesday that read: “I was stunned. I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules.

“My commitment to indie flick, ‘Barney’s Version’ is only 10 days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse. Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10-day overlap.

“I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part,” she continued. “I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the Twilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate.

“I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best.”

Just as we thought, Summit’s “reasons” for recasting just didn’t sound quite right.  Good luck Rachelle- we loved you as Victoria!

Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing Rachelle Lefevre as the vengeful vampire, Victoria, in the third installment of the Twilight franchise, Eclipse.

Lefevre played the role in Twilight and New Moon.  The studio says the switch is due to scheduling conflicts as Lefevre will start shooting the indie drama Barney’s Version opposite Dustin Hoffman at the same time (both films have the same August 17 start date).

Hmmm, Rachelle not knowing when filming starts on Eclipse and would agree to another project?  Sounds a little fishy.  Thoughts???
