Lyssa Chapman, daughter of bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman was arrested Wednesday (March 16) in Hawaii.
 
Baby Lyssa, who appears on the popular A&E show, Dog the Bounty Hunter is accused of harassment and criminal property damage.

Lyssa, 23, was arrested on Kawaihae Street in Hawaii Kai at about 3:30 AM, after she allegedly caused a commotion from banging on residents’ doors, broke a window while she was yelling and swearing.  Apparently, Lyssa was intoxicated.

Police sources say Lyssa was unruly when police arrived to the scene.  Reportedly, she slapped an officer’s cell phone out of his hand while he was using it.

A camera crew from the A&E Network was seen waiting for Lyssa outside the jail.  Lyssa was bailed out Wednesday afternoon after a cryptic message was Tweeted on step-mother, Beth Chapman ’s Twitter page.  The message read:

“Remember one thing people who don’t immediately bail their kids out of jail  … Generally they know more than you do”

Then, Beth followed with  more Tweets throughout Wednesday night that read:

“Good thing this family is about 2nd chances …..”

“One things for sure nothing brings a family closer than a Lil drama …everybody’s here watching the show”

“Thank you everyone for your good wishes and prayers for Baby Lyssa She is a young lady going thru a very grown up divorce”

“She is going thru here own growing pains and is busy learning lessons for herself …life is But a struggle”

Lyssa filed for divorce from husband, Bo Galanti in February 1, 2011, claiming domestic abuse.  The couple have been married for two years.

Duane “Dog” Chapman was taken to UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 2), due to an injury he suffered while on a bounty hunt, this according to his partner/ wife Beth Chapman.

Chapman was admitted where he was treated for internal bleeding.

Beth posted a statement on their official website, stating:

“He was admitted for tests for a possible blood clot following an injury he suffered on a bounty hunt.”  She added, “Duane is in very capable hands and we thank everyone for their prayers.”

Dog was released and was able to make a scheduled appearance at the Cathedral of Faith Church in San Jose, California for his close friend, Reverend Tim Storey.

Season 7 of ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ premieres Wednesday (October 6) on A&E 9/8 c.

Lyssa Chapman II, daughter of Duane “Dog” Chapman, step daughter of Beth Chapman, and a member of his posse was married to Brahman “Bo” Galanti, on February 22nd at Lanikuhonua at Ko Olina, Oahu.

The ceremony was celebrated with 200 of the Chapman’s closest family and friends.

After bestowing upon his new son-in-law his bounty hunting badge at the start of the wedding ceremony, Duane Chapman said, “I gave away two of the most precious things in my life today – my daughter and my bounty hunting badge.”

The wedding was filmed for a future episode of Dog the Bounty Hunter.  During the rehersal dinner, Dog got a call to go nab a criminal and left the party.  Dog, Beth and the posse got their guy.

Of course, Dog always gets his guy in the end, on t.v. anyway.

After the services had ended, Dog signed copies of his #1 New York Times Best selling book, You Can Run But You Can’t Hide.  Also, Dog merchandise was available for purchase.

Dog brought his merchandise to sell at church? C’mon people this is church!

Season premiere of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” returns on July 16th on A&E after a long hiatus. The show was removed from the air last November after a tape surfaced of Duane “Dog” Chapman using a racial slur. However, execs from A&E state that Dog has learned his lesson and they are ready to give him another chance.

Dog will be returning with his posse, Beth Chapman, Tim Chapman, Leland Chapman, Duane Lee Chapman, and Baby Lyssa Chapman for all new exciting episodes. Also, A&E has decided to air never-before-seen episodes from season 4. This is sure to make every Dog fan’s day.

Well, it’s all over the tabloids- Duane “Dog” Chapman and Beth Chapman are getting a divorce. 

We have received numerous emails asking us to answer this question.  The answer is NO!  Dog and Beth are happily married.  The couple currently star in their own TV show, Dog the Bounty Hunter, along with Dog’s sons, Duane Lee Chapman, Leland Chapman, and and daughter Baby Lyssa Chapman.

“Dog the Bounty Hunter”, was pulled off the air when a taped phone conversation hit the news, that had “Dog” making a racial slur. Last week, A&E Televsion has stated that show return and “Dog” is ashamed of his mistake.

One thing I have to say for this- WooHoo! I’ve missed the show. Can’t wait to see it back on air! Long live Dog!
