Aaron Carter has checked himself into a rehab facility to treat addiction issues, according to reports.

Carter, 23, who is known for his singing, being a former Dancing with the Stars contestant, and little brother to BSB’er Nick Carter, checked into a facility voluntarily earlier this month to get help.

Aaron appeared on Celebrity Rehab in 2008.

According to sources, Nick has been very supportive and visiting his brother as much as he can.

Aaron Carter, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant owes the IRS more than $1 million in back taxes!

According to court documents, he owes more than $965,000 from 2003 alone. An additional $45,350.11 is also owed from income earned in 2006.

According to ET, a statement released from Johnny Wright, Aaron’s manager, says:

“It is unfortunate that while Aaron was a minor, his finances were grossly mismanaged by his previous team which has lead to the current situation of which he was unaware of until today. Aaron is working with a new team to take appropriate actions towards speedy resolution of the matter and looks forward to putting this behind him and moving forward with the next stage of his music career.”

It’s almost time for Dancing with the Stars’ ninth season. And sixteen celebrities have signed on to do the ABC show, which premieres Monday, Sept. 21.

The Dancing lineup was was announced on Good Morning America this morning. 

The most talked about contestant so far??  Former House of Representatives Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

“He’s a fairly divisive figure in as much as Democrats will probably be hoping he fails and Republicans will probably be melting down the phones to keep him in,” producer Conrad Green admits.  “I love that kind of level of engagement.  Tom loves dancing. He dances with his wife. He watches Dancing with the Stars religiously. For him it was a no brainer, but for us it was an absolute shock.”

Professional dancer/celebrity pairings will be announced on August 24th.
