On Tuesday (May 4), on American Idol contestants sang songs from Frank Sinatra and were mentored by Harry Connick Jr.
The top five were Crystal Bowersox, Casey James, Michael Lynche, Aaron Kelly and Lee DeWyze.
But after Wednesday’s (May 5) results show- one had to go. And it was Aaron Kelly. Which was a bit of a shock, since Aaron had good reviews from the judges on Tuesday and he did better than Casey James, and was even preferred over Crystal Bowersox by many.
In the bottom two, it was Aaron and Michael Lynche, who has seen that bottom quite a few times (he was saved by the judges once).
For now, Lee DeWyze seems like he is clearly the frontrunner. Which makes me think that it may be Lee that will face off against Crystal Bowersox in the finale. Would be interesting, but as talented as Crystal is, we have to admit that Lee is our favorite.
And as for the professional talent joining the Wednesday night’s show was- Lady Gaga, in which she performed “Alejandro.” Gaga is a true talent and her performance was great and enjoyed by all.
