Hilary Duff has a new gig!
As an author! Duff has announced her plans to pen a series of young adult novels for Simon & Schuster.
Hilary, who was recently engaged to Edmonton Oilers player Mike Comrie, is starting the series with an upcoming book titled “Elixir,” which is due to hit bookstore shelves on October 12th, 2010.
According to press reports, Hilary’s first book “will feature the adventures of a globe-trotting photojournalist named Clea Raymond.”
She will also be writing a book that is aimed to help children cope with the subject of parental divorce. That has a release date in 2012.
