Very tragic news from Sea World in Orlando today…
A trainer was killed Wednesday (February 24) when a killer whale attacked her in front of a live audience.
Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the Shamu Stadium at the theme park but she could not be revived.
A park guest, Victoria Biniak told WKMG-TV that the trainer had just explained to the audience the show they were about to see, when the whale suddenly came up from the water, grabbed the trainer around the waist and “thrashed her all around” to the point the trainer’s shoe fell off.
“He was thrashing her around pretty good,” Biniak said. “It was violent.”
The guests were asked to leave and the park was closed.
Very sad. Our condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of the trainer.

Killer whales are animals that cannot be completely tamed. Sad for this womans family but its a risk with her job and Im sure she knew that

killer whales have something called kill time they didn’t know this was going to happen. Its not shamu’s fault he didn’t know it was going to happen ether.
