Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, will be making her way to the small screen.
Palin is set to appear on an episode of ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” as Amy’s (Shailene Woodley) friend at a music program for teen mothers. She will be playing herself.
Palin will be filming in Los Angeles and an air date is set for this summer.
Palin, 19 said of her new gig, “I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy.”
Executive producer Brenda Hampton said, “Bristol Palin is the most famous teenage mother in America. We’re thrilled to have her join us, and I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we’ve been exploring for a couple of seasons now.”
This all in amidst the Palin vs. Levi Johnston custody battle over their son Tripp, 1.
