Sarah Palin and daughter, Bristol Palin made an appearance via satellite on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The pair was available to talk about their new roles in life–Bristol as a teenaged, single mom and Sarah as a new Fox News commentator. And Bristol tells Oprah Winfrey that she plans to not have sex again until she is married. And a very realistic Oprah questions her about that statement.
Bristol says, “I just think it’s a goal to have, and other women should have that goal.” She also says that she has been depressed since she gave birth to 13-month old, Tripp.
Winfrey questioned Bristol’s statement, asking her, “But when you make the statement … you don’t think you’re setting yourself up? Is that a realistic position? What if you wait 10 years to get married?”
Bristol replied, “It’s a realistic goal for myself. I have a kid in my life, and it’s my full-time job now. I have this big, supportive family and stuff, but I just felt so alone.”
