The stars of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” want more money!
Reportedly, MTV has offered the cast $10,000 each per episode of Season 2 of Jersey Shore. There are 12 episodes planned for season 2.
Sources say that the first offer was $5,000 an episode, with a $10,000 signing bonus. However, the cast rejected the deal and are banning together as they demand more money.
And according to reports, MTV isn’t falling for the current cast negotiation tactics. MTV is open to using replacement cast members to fill the spots of the original stars if they don’t accept the offer by the end of the day on Monday.
MTV apparently has replacement cast members in mind as they have received thousands and thousands of audition tapes for the show.
The “Jersey Shore” season finale last Thursday (January 21) had 4.8 million viewers.
