Michael C. Hall, who stars on HBO’s series, Dexter, has revealed that he has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer
Hall, 38, released a statement, saying that he was lucky to have been diagnosed early, though the condition is completely “treatable and curable.” He also thanked his Los Angeles-area medical team for their skill in caring for him.
A spokesman for Hall says the cancer is in remission but he will continue scheduled treatments.
Hall, along with his wife, Jennifer Carpenter, also of Dexter, are both planning to attend Sunday’s Golden Globes. Hall is nominated for best dramatic actor and the show as best drama. Hall and Carpenter also plans to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards next Saturday, where Hall and the cast are also nominated for awards.
Good to hear the cancer is gone Michael.
