Charlie Sheen was arrested Friday, December 25th at 11:20 a.m. on domestic violence charges.
Police received a 911 call regarding a domestic violence situation in Aspen, Colo. Officers investigated and booked Sheen. His wife Brooke Mueller did not seek medical treatment.
“Carlos Irwin Estevez, also known as the actor Charles I. Sheen, was brought to the Pitkin County Colorado Jail for booking and incarceration following his arrest by the Aspen Police Department,” patrol director Jeff Lumsden of Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office, said in a statement.
Sheen, 44, was allegedly charged with second-degree assault and menacing and criminal mischief after an alleged scuffle with his wife, Brooke Mueller.
On Friday evening Sheen, posted an $8,500 bond, and was released from jail at 7 p.m. His court date has been set for Feb. 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.
