No not in a movie, but in real life- Tom Cruise is being accused of spying and wiretapping!
Michael Davis Sapir claims that Tom hired private investigator, Anthony Pellicano, to wiretap Sapir’s phone in 2001, which was the same time Tom was suing Michael for $100 million when he claimed to have video evidence of the scientologist “engaged in a homosexual relationship.”

In 2001, Tom sued Sapir for $100 million; Sapir had claimed that he had a video proving his “homosexual relationship” with Cruise. The suit was settled, and both parties said in a statement that there was no tape.
So now, that brings us to now- Sapir is suing the actor for $5 million, which also names, attorney Bert Fields, and Pellicano in the suit.
Tom’s reps have not commented on the lawsuit, but Bert Fields says “The allegations are absolute garbage. We did not even hire Pellicano to work on the Sapir case.”
He didn’t say that they didn’t hire him on any other cases. Hmm.
