Former cast member of the 80s show “Family Ties” was arrested for assault in Colorado.

Police say that on Monday that Brian Bonsall, 28, got into a fight at an apartment on Saturday and he hit his friend with part of a broken wooden stool.

Bonsall reportedly told officers he had been drinking and didn’t remember what happened.

Currently, he is being held in jail.  But this isn’t the first time he has had assault problems.  Brian was on probation in 2007 for assaulting his girlfriend.

Bonsall currently lives in Westminster, Colorado, about 20 miles south of Boulder.

Back in the day, Bonsall played Michael J. Fox‘s too cute little brother Andy Keaton on the sitcom.

   So sad. Brian Bonsall was so cute when he was a kid. Now he looks awful. My heart breaks for his mother!
