CBS’ As the World Turns will air its last episode in September, after 54 years!
The soap opera is the second soap opera that CBS has cancelled in the past three months, following Guiding Light.
“We are disappointed and saddened by the news that the show s not being renewed,” executive producer Chris Goutman said in a statement. “It will certainly be a loss for all of us, and for the show’s loyal audience.”
