Well this gives new meaning to “when pigs fly”.
Paula Deen, The Food Network celebrity chef was volunteering for the pre-Thanksgiving Hosea Feed the Hungry food drive in Atlanta, Georgia.
Volunteers were in a close proximity as they tossed hams to be loaded onto a truck. However, Paula leaned too far forward and took one right in the face.
Paula looked shaken by the incident, holds her face and is escorted out of the flying meat zone.
” I thought it busted my lip, but it didn’t, “she later told CBSAtlanta.com. “I just got hit with a hog so what do I expect … You have to be able to laugh, otherwise I’d be in a loony bin.”
Wow, looked painful. Lesson learned- don’t stick face in the path of flying pork. Got it!
