Wife of Shaquille O’Neal, Va’shaundya has filed for a legal separation in Los Angeles.
Papers were filed on Monday and Va’shaundya O’Neal is citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. She is seeking sole custody of their four minor children with visitation for O’Neal. And spousal support, with the intentions of getting a divorce at a later time.
Va’shaundya and Shaq live in Florida, but since California has a more generous community-property divorce law than Florida, she abruptly flew out to L.A., took her kids out of school and claimed herself a resident of California on Nov. 8th, the day before the separation papers were filed.
