Well all we can say is- we hope The Heene couple are happy with their buzz now!
The Balloon Boy incident has turned out to be one huge publicity stunt for the Heene family!
During a press conference this morning, Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden announced that they have evidence that the runaway balloon incident was “a hoax, a publicity stunt to market a reality show.”
Charges will be filed against parents Richard and Mayumi for the following: conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor (a felony), false reporting, and attempt to influence an officer.
It is also believed that the event had been planned for two weeks, with the master plan being to create controversy by making people think the kid was “onboard,” in order to generate buzz for a reality show.
This is honestly a sick way to gain attention; at the expense of your own child? This 6 year-old little boy was coerced into lying to authorities by his parents. It is very sad. This little boy is supposed to be able to look up to his parent for guidance and the truth. Now, it’s the authorities that will have to tell this little boy that his parents are liars and aren’t trustworthy. Sad. Sad.
These parents are so dumb- to risk losing your kids like that. Awful
