Perez Hilton Gets Called Out for His Hideous Treatment of Michael Jackson Death

Above is the original picture with hand-written comments from Perez Hilton.

Blogger, Perez Hilton made a post of Michael Jackson’s death.  Except, WHAT he wrote is what has everyone up in arms.

Perez is being slammed from all corners for dismissing the initial word on Thursday that Jackson had been rushed to the hospital, calling it a publicity stunt to ‘get out of having to go on tour next month’.

“Supposedly, the singer went into cardiac arrest …” Hilton wrote in his blog, before stating, “We are dubious!!”

“Either he’s lying or making himself sick,” the blog continued. Then it urged those who had purchased tickets for Jackson’s series of concerts in London to “get your money back!”

The post included a picture of Jackson with the hand-scrawled headline: “Heart attack or cold feet?”

Web site posters responded quickly and angrily. Many blogs and celebrities were quick to respond very angrily towards Perez.

“That guy is seriously sick in the head. He does more harm that good and he needs to get off the internet now,” wrote one blogger, in a fairly typical response.

Perez got the message, because, in a very short time after, he replaced the offending post with a shorter one that links to a story at the entertainment news site TMZ, which said the singer had in fact gone into cardiac arrest. The Jackson photo with the “Heart attack or cold feet?” headline was also removed.

On Twitter, celebrities were calling Perez out about the way he writes about, talks about and treats celebrities.  To name a few, Pete Wentz and Ashley Simpson-Wentz  were definately not shy to tell Perez that they have had enough.  Of course, Perez argued back and forth and went off subject a few times.  Obviously, this guy dish out a lot of crap, but can’t take it when he’s called on it.  It’s about time celebrites start standing up for themselves and let Perez know that this kind of behavior should be shameful.

With the very sad and emotional passing of Michael Jackson, it should be just one more clue for Perez that celebrities are human and they too have feelings!
