Robyn Gibson, wife of Mel Gibson has filed for divorce from her husband of 28 years. It has been reported that the couple have been seperated for three years.
“Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so,” the Gibsons said in a joint statement released to Access Hollywood on Monday.
Robyn signed the divorce papers on Thursday and filed the papers on Monday morning in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
