Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are getting a guest spot on CSI: NY.

“Ashlee will be playing ‘Lia Wickfield’ andPete will be playing ‘Chester Bryon’. They are a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’-like couple,” a source says. 

Ashlee is scheduled to begin filming her scenes Friday. Pete is expected to start shooting the show sometime next week.

Jeez, is CSI:NY really doing that bad? Are they desperate for guest stars?
