John Travolta and Kelly Preston are going to have the body of their son, Jett Travolta, cremated in the Bahamas, reports state.
The ashes will be on their way to Florida within the next 24 hours, flown on a plane by John.
Earlier in the day on Monday, it was revealed the cause of death listed on the teen’s death certificate was “seizure.”
Although it was initially thought that Jett had died after suffering a seizure and hitting his head on the bathtub inside the bathroom of the family’s residence at the Old Bahama Bay, an official at Restview reportedly told The Associated Press that Jett’s body showed no signs of head trauma.
How unbelievably sad for these people. I don’t know how I would ever come back if I lost one of my children.
What ever they believe in this is a very sad time for them. This is their child. Let them be.
I am totally speechless and cannot comprehend on the loss of a child. I feel so bad for John and Kelly. God’s blessings to the family at this difficult time of loss.
Was he a special need child?
Having lost a son myself I know there is no greater pain. My heart goes out to the Travolta family.
I was concerned about the report, though . . .no one wondered where Jett was from Thursday AM to Friday AM?
I don’t find it odd that a 16 yr old would not be checked on overnight. At 16 he would be in high school. I am pretty sure they all had separate bedrooms. The reports said they don’t know if the fall caused the seizure of if the seizure caused the fall. None of this really matters. Bottom line….he was a very loved young man and lived a happy life. There is no doubt he had wonderful parents.
It’s just so sad. My heart goes out to the family.
