Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have had a little help conceiving their two new bundles of joy, according to Us Weekly, which reported claims that the couple used fertility treatments prior to the conception of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
“They conceived through in vitro fertilization,” a source reportedly told Us Weekly. “They both desperately wanted more babies soon.”
Angelina, 33, reportedly opted for the treatment to avoid the hassle of trying to get pregnant.
”She did it so she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. She could just knock it out,” the Us Weekly source added.
If the couple did in fact use fertility treatments to aid their efforts, it may not be much of a surprise. In an interview with Elle U.K. in 2007, Angelina spoke about the desire to raise her children before she and Brad, 44, get too old.
“If we’re going to have 10 kids, we’d like to raise them while we’re young,” she said at the time.
