Joel Madden, Good Charlotte front man, posted a message on his Web site declaring, “WE DID IT!! NICOLE AND I FINALLY GOT MARRIED!! Click here for the pictures!!” “HAHA. JUST KIDDING”. Joel was responding to a a report from last week’s Star claiming he and Nicole Richie were planning to get hitched at the end of the month in a $2 million, three-day blowout celebration.
“So I feel really stupid even posting this, but I’ve been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren’t invited to my wedding,” explained Madden. “I guess the only answer I could give them was that I didn’t know we were having one!”
Joel says, “Sooooo if you were pissed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, don’t blame me, there’s nothing to worry about. It’s just Star magazine. How long do you think it will be before they write we called it off, or we broke up? I give them a week or two …”
