Singer R. Kelly, was acquitted of child pornography charges on Friday, putting to end a six-year ordeal, who in 2002 was accused of engaging in sex acts with an under-aged girl.  This all began after a video tape was mailed to the Chicago Sun-Times in 2002 with a girl as young as 13. Both Kelly and alleged victim, who is now 23, denied they were the ones on the tape. Neither of them testified during the month-long trial.

The jury deliberated for 7 1/2 hours before finding Kelly, 41, innocent on all 14 counts. Upon hearing the verdict, “R. Kelly looked relieved,” said an onlooker.
